Pre-Procedure / Pre-Care Instructions
Before ANY Permanent MakeUp Application
Please be sure to read the following Instructions and Guidelines to assure the Best results for your procedure.
*******Moisturize Your BROWS every night, for a full WEEK or longer Before your appointment. I recommend Aquaphor or Vaseline (gentle cream or moisturizer is ok ) applied directly onto the skin of your brow. Also Exfoliate the skin of your brow as well before the appointment. *** This will make skin super soft instead of rough, allowing for more control and more strokes when microblading. ***********************************************************************
Do not work out 48 hours before procedure.
NO alcohol or caffeine, or energy drinks 48 hours before procedure (Yes, there is caffeine in decaf coffee and tea!)
Avoid Sun tanning on your face 2 weeks prior to procedure.
Please refrain from Aspirin, Ibuprofen and Aleve for 24-48 hours prior to your appointment.
The only product for aches and pain that will not make you bleed is Tylenol.
Also refrain from fish oil, Niacin, Vitamin E, Prenatal Vitamins, Nutritional Shakes (Shakeology, Keytone, etc. ) “Hair, skin, Nail” supplements, Multi Vitamins, ( all vitamins basically) 2 weeks prior to procedure.
Discontinue Retin-A, Chemical and Laser Peels, Microdermabrasions, Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA ) and any chemical exfoliant or “brightening”skincare at least 6 weeks prior (Once your brows have healed, you must avoid use of these products on forehead area after procedure to prevent premature fading).
No Brow waxing, tinting or threading one week prior ( the more natural hair growth you have the better!)
Please note you will be more sensitive during your menstrual cycle
All of these make you bleed excessively by either thinning the blood or increasing blood circulation. Excessive bleeding during the procedure will negatively affect the longevity of your semi-permanent makeup application. In some cases, the application will need to be prematurely stopped.
*** Vitamin K Can be taken at least 2 weeks prior or more to HELP REDUCE the amount of Bleeding for EVERYONE or for those who know they are bleeders, have recently been on any type of blood thinners or who are very athletic and healthy ***
*** Also Note *** If you have Botox Regularly Injected to Lift/Change the Positioning of your Eyebrows, be sure to schedule the actual Brow appointment at least 2 weeks after having botox & while Botox is still active. This Ensures Proper Placement and Shaping of Brows. ********

*****. Please Note Those Who Have or Take ; ******
- Thyroid Conditions affect how the color heals by reducing the levels of pigment color absorbed. Color may heal in some cases with a light grey undertone or may require more sessions than normal. Same applies with Autoimmune conditions
- Any Steroid Use; Injection, Oral, and or Topical, or Inhalers wiyh steroid, affect how you heal & reduce the level of ink absorbed requiring more sessions than normal.
- Antihistamines (allergy med, inhalers, etc) affect how you heal and reduce the level of ink absorbed requiring more sessions than normal.
Steroid and or Antihistamines will make the texture of your skin incredibly hard & rough to work with, especially when doing Microblading, Making it difficult to create curved natural looking strokes. This may greatly reduce the Saturation of ink in your skin, and possibly the Aesthetic result possibly requiring more sessions than normal to perfect.
- Antibiotics affect how you heal and may DISTORT and or blur color if tattooed while on Antibiotics or while its still in your system. You should wait 2 weeks after completing antibiotics, for medicine to flush out your system, then schedule your tattoo.
Booking Time
If you have a special occasion or function and plan to take photos of yourself, I always recommend scheduling a Permanent Makeup Procedure at least 2 weeks before any special occassion. This will allow time to heal so that their is no shedding or swelling remaining and you can be camera ready as well as able to apply makeup over the areas that have healed. .
The same goes for vacations. If you plan to actively sunbathe/Tan , we ask that u schedule at least 2 weeks after a procedure to be able to apply sunscreen daily. Please protect your investment! I sometimes ask to allow a months time so you don’t risk getting a sunburn within first 4 weeks.
