Semi-Permanent & Permanent Cosmetic Services to enhance your natural Beauty

What exactly is

Nano Brows

Nano Brows is a permanent makeup technique and form of brow tattooing that utilizes a digital machine with a fine needle. This allows for intricate and precise hair-like strokes, marking a significant advancement from traditional Microblading methods. The result is a more refined, detailed, and natural-looking outcome.

This technique creates a hyper natural brow pattern allowing for depth and dimension to each individual stroke and throughout the brow. This style mimics the appearance of real eyebrows, while achieving intricacy that was not possible with traditional microblading.

Similar to microblading, the pigment in Nano Brows is deposited superficially and a much more gentler implantation than the microblade method. The duration of pigment retention after Nano Brows depends on several factors, including how frequently you exfoliate, sun exposure, and genetics.

What exactly is

Microblading

Microblading is a cutting edge method of permanent makeup designed to enhance the eyebrows. It involves a certified and licensed microblading artist using a hand held tool with a very fine needle grouping to draw individual hairs, creating the illusion of full and perfectly shaped beautiful eyebrows.

F.A.Q

What is permanent makeup?

Permanent makeup, also known as cosmetic tattooing or micropigmentation, is a technique where pigment is implanted into the skin to enhance facial features like eyebrows, eyeliner, and lips. The results can last for several years, offering a long-lasting alternative to daily makeup application.

How long does permanent makeup last?

The longevity of permanent makeup depends on several factors, including skin type, lifestyle, and aftercare. Typically, it lasts between 1 to 3 years, though some people may need touch-ups sooner to maintain their desired look.

Is the procedure painful?

Most clients experience minimal discomfort during the procedure. Numbing agents are applied to the area beforehand to reduce any pain. The sensation is often described as a mild scratching or tingling.

Is permanent makeup safe?

Yes, when performed by a licensed and trained professional, permanent makeup is safe. It’s important to choose an experienced artist who follows strict sanitation and sterilization practices to minimize any risk of infection or complications.

How long do permanent makeup brows last?

Permanent makeup brows typically last 1-3 years, depending on factors like skin type, lifestyle, and aftercare. However, a touch-up may be recommended after 12-18 months to maintain optimal results. Over time, the pigment will gradually fade, allowing for adjustments to shape and color during touch-up sessions.

Is the permanent makeup procedure painful?

Most clients experience minimal discomfort during the procedure. A topical anesthetic is applied to numb the area before and during the treatment. Some describe the sensation as a light scratching or pressure. Sensitivity can vary from person to person, but the process is generally well-tolerated.

How long does the healing process take?

The initial healing process takes about 7-10 days. During this time, the brows may appear darker and slightly thicker than the final result. It’s important to follow all aftercare instructions provided by your technician. The full healing process, where you’ll see the true color and final results, can take up to 4-6 weeks.

Can I get permanent makeup if I have no eyebrow hair?

Absolutely! Permanent makeup is an excellent solution for those with little to no eyebrow hair due to genetics, over-plucking, or medical conditions like alopecia. The technician can create a completely new brow shape that complements your facial features, giving you natural-looking, full brows.

Can Medications affect My Cosmetic Tattoo?

This is a common question asked often by clients. Many medications have effects on the body and can affect the most simplest skin care services. This is easily demonstrated by the side effects medications can cause when taken for there reason they’re prescribed. The list of possible side effects is pretty long and standard in general. Not every person can have side effects from there medications but they can happen. So be sure to let your PMU artist know about all prescription and non prescription drugs, supplements, topically applied products, eye drops etc. The more info known about you, the better that an outcome can be achieved.

Do not stop taking your medications. Depending on the problem there are often ways to work around it. If your medication is a contraindication to doing a service, it is best you talk with your doctor or confirm with your physician that this service is safe for you. Your health and safety is my number one concern.

Cholesterol and blood pressure medications, while not blood thinners, work to make the blood platelets not stick together. In permanent make up this often means there may be more chance of a blood droplet coming to the surface. The downside is this molecule is bigger than the tattoo pigment molecule and can wash some of them away. This leads to more color loss experienced, then would be on a client not on these medications.

Clients on thyroid medication often need permanent cosmetic procedures re-enhanced a little more frequently. It’s been noticed for whatever reason their color fades a little more quickly.

Blood thinning medication can also be an issue with cosmetic tattoo procedures. You may be referred to get clearance from your physician if you’re on blood thinning medications.

Diabetic clients, who are insulin independent often do not heal as well and may be at a heightened risk for infection. Medical clearance is needed.

Use of retinoids like vitamin A or acids like glycolic, lactic or blends work to thin the dead skin of the epidermis. Increasing the risk of skin irritation, or even creating a wound. Be sure to stop the use of any of these products, prescription over-the-counter 2-4 weeks prior to your treatment.

Restasis is a new concern as it has been observed that those who use it have increased sensitivity of the eyelid to the point that a cosmetic tattoo eyeliner procedure is not well tolerated you may be required to discontinue use for 30 days before doing your procedure. Do not restart use until it has been determined it is completed .

Patients on chemotherapy drugs, have a compromised immune system and may not heal well all of these drugs. Need your doctors written permission that this procedure is safe for you.

Botox and injectables are extremely popular. If you’ve had Botox or filler injectable wait at least two weeks before having a permanent cosmetic tattoo done. The manipulation of the skin has a small potential for affecting the outcome and length of time it lasts. For a lip blush tattoo the best timing is before any fillers are injected. This has been observed to produce the best most predictable outcome. Otherwise a minimum of 3 to 4 weeks after a filler lip filler is done is recommended to do a lip tattoo. If Botox is done to change the brow position and that is how your brow position is maintained, then have brows done within this time frame of having Botox ; 2 weeks after but before the end of 3 months.

Herbs and supplements can also have an impact on the skin. Some can cause blood thinning or skin thinning. Be sure to list everything that you take so that we can avoid unexpected complications and make sure you have the safest procedure with the most positive outcome.
